Meet the Heart Behind Heartland

Tracey Mullen
With more than 35 years in the wellness space, Tracey brings deep experience and intuition to her work. What began with a personal development seminar at age 19 became a lifelong journey into the body–mind–spirit connection—and a passion for helping others return to themselves. Tracey holds Diplomas in Herbal Medicine, Medical Science, and Remedial Massage, and is trained in Bowen Therapy, Emotional Release Bodywork, Gestalt Therapy, NLP, Chakra Breathwork, and more. She’s worked with individuals and groups across a wide range of challenges, and brings empathy, insight, and a down-to-earth approach to everything she does.In her words: “In order to truly be free, we must be willing to go within. Whether we want change in our relationship with ourselves, others, or addictive patterns, we need to understand how our emotions, thoughts, and behaviours are shaping our lives. That’s where real healing begins.” Heartland Wellness is Tracey’s offering to those seeking rest, nourishment and realignment. Whether you need a reset or feel ready for deeper work, this is a space to be supported—physically, emotionally and spiritually. What a Day at Heartland Looks Like Start the morning with a brisk walk and Tracey’s custom-designed Energy Activation Flow—combining movement, breath, meridian work, and meditation. Follow with an optional ice bath to invigorate body and mind. Sip a fresh organic juice and ease into your day. Wander through the food forest, rest, or enjoy a selection of wellness treatments like aromatherapy massage, emotional release bodywork, infrared sauna, red light therapy or an ionic foot detox. All meals are fresh and organic. Warm drinks like cacao, turmeric lattes and dandelion chai are always on hand. In cooler months, end the day around the fire. This retreat is yours to shape—whether you need time out, deep healing or just space to breathe.

These days, you’ll find me at Heartland—the retreat space I created on the Mid North Coast. It’s more than a place to stay; it’s a space to come home to yourself. With a thriving food forest, open skies, and grounded, heart-led practices, Heartland is where people come to pause, breathe, and remember what matters. I’m here, on the land, holding space for real connection—back to self, back to nature, and back to what’s true.
At the heart of everything Phil does is this: helping people wake up to who they truly are—and live from that place of freedom, truth, and connection.
